Synopsis
The city of Suzdal was first recorded in ancient chronicles 1000 years ago. For centuries, it attracted the very energy of life and creative powers of outstanding people. The Grand Dukes Vladimir Monomakh, Yuri Dolgoruky, Andrei Bogolyubsky, Georgy Vsevolodovich erected powerful fortifications around the Kremlin, built and repeatedly rebuilt the main city cathedral in honor of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, founded ensembles of princely residences around Suzdal - Kideksha and Bogolyubovo.
