Synopsis
Qi'er’s mother gave birth to seven children, but due to dietary restrictions during pregnancy, only the seventh: Qi'er survived. Qi'er later joined the Youth Army to fight in the War of Resistance against Japan. After the war ended, the civil war prevented him from returning home.
