Synopsis
Cabinda artistically reenacts the process of liberation of the African woman Roza Cabinda, a 44-year-old black woman who was under the yoke of the German Halfeld family in the city of Juiz de Fora in the 19th century. Roza gains her freedom in court and finds herself in this filmic time-space with Madalena, a black woman who was also held captive in the 21st century.
